Open Ownership is hiring for two exciting regional positions with its Country Implementation Team. Please consider applying if you like the idea of working directly with government agencies implementing beneficial ownership transparency to offer technical assistance, and of harvesting knowledge that can help advance these reforms globally. Both job roles will involve significant travel, as well as collaboration with colleagues across the organisation.

Open Ownership is working to create a world where governments, businesses, and citizens can readily access and effectively use accurate, complete, and high-quality evidence and information on the true owners of companies, not only to achieve transparency but to reduce key global and national risks such as corruption and tax evasion, and create a more sustainable business environment.
Open Ownership is a remote organisation with a growing global team of professionals based in Argentina, Belgium, Chile, France, Mexico, Nigeria, the Philippines, South Africa as well as the United Kingdom (UK) where currently 50% of the organisation is based. Open Ownership offer a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on agility and flexibility. People who enjoy learning and variety in their work will be particularly well-suited for its team. Although home-based, its fully remote team does meet in-person at least once a year (restrictions allowing).
Regional Associate
Open Ownership is recruiting a Regional Associate for Asia to join its Country Implementation Team. This is a permanent role. Open Ownership is seeking an enthusiastic individual with experience of working in Asia. This role will suit you if you enjoy learning and variety in your work, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with an emphasis on agility and flexibility.
In this role, you will join a globally distributed team, working on delivery of Open Ownership’s support to priority national governments in the Asia Pacific region. You’ll provide high-quality administrative and content support to enable programme and project delivery, as well as take an active role in maintaining stakeholder relationships in the region.
Brief details
- Remuneration: Benchmarked against Open Ownership competencies framework at GBP 40,000 – 55,000 (USD 50,000 – 66,000) dependent on experience.
- Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours a week but flexible working will be considered with virtual team meetings up to UTC+08 22:00 at least twice per week, and in-person sessions (restrictions permitting).
- Location: Home-based, remote working, flexible work location. This post is only open to candidates residing in Southeast Asia (UTC +07 to +09).

Regional Manager
Open Ownership is recruiting a Regional Manager for Africa to join its Country Implementation Team. This is a permanent role. Open Ownership is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to oversee and coordinate project management efforts across countries in Africa that are implementing BOT. This role offers the chance to make a lasting impact on the use of beneficial ownership data, helping governments combat corruption, increase transparency, and strengthen governance in key areas.
You will join a distributed team across the region and beyond, working on delivery of Open Ownership’s support to priority national governments in the region delivering high-quality technical assistance.

- Remuneration: Benchmarked against Open Ownership competencies framework at GBP $66,000 – $85,000 (£55,000 – £70,000) dependent on experience.
- Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours a week but flexible working will be considered.
- Location: Home-based, remote working, flexible work location. This post is only open to candidates residing in the Southern or Eastern African regions with regular virtual team meetings and in-person sessions.
