Youth 4 Policy (Y4P) Innovation Fellowship: Apply!
The Youth 4 Policy (Y4P) Innovation Fellowship is designed to nurture young and emerging policymakers keen on transforming Uganda’s startup ecosystem. The programme is seeking highly passionate and qualified individuals to conduct in-depth research and produce valuable, high- quality policy papers that will scale and support the emergence of Uganda’s nascent startup sector.
Who should Apply
- Must be residents in Uganda (nationality not required)
- Demonstrated interest in policy and innovation.
- Suitable candidates may come from; Entrepreneurship, law, journalism, policy, technology, economics, engineering, business.

Program Structure
- Duration: 5 Months
- Modules and Workshops: Structured training and interactive sessions
- Mentorship: Bi-weekly check-ins with experienced mentors
- Deliverables: Research and submission of a high-quality policy paper
Graduation Criteria for Youth 4 Policy (Y4P) Innovation Fellowship
To graduate, fellows must;
- Attend atleast 80% of the module days
- Participate in at least 8 out of 12 mentorship sessions
- Submit a final policy paper approved by KAS
