Volunteer remotely under the Grants & Fundraising Manager at the Climate Mobility Community Action Network

Overview

The Climate Mobility Community Action Network (CMCAN) an organization registered in Canada that works internationally addressing topics on climate mobility and displacement is developing a comprehensive fundraising, grants and donations strategy, but CMCAN is in need of some more volunteers to help them out.

CMCAN is likely looking to add 2-3 volunteers who can volunteer remotely for 3-5 hours a week working under the direction of the Grants & Fundraising Manager and Co-Lead of the team. You will be part of a very supportive team who is looking for a bit more help.

Key Responsibilities:

Researching Funding Opportunities: Identify potential grant opportunities, donors, and funding sources, conduct research on grant databases, foundations, and other relevant platforms.
Assisting in Proposal Development: Support in drafting, editing, and proofreading grant proposals and applications.
Grant Management: Assist in tracking grant deadlines, reporting schedules, and other compliance requirements.
Donor Communication: Help prepare communication materials for donors, including newsletters, updates, and thank letters.
Fundraising Campaign Support: Assist in planning and executing fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives.
Data Management: Maintain and update donor databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Reporting and Analysis: Assist in preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with the communications and program teams to align fundraising efforts with the organization’s activities.
