The Role: Solar Impulse Foundation is Hiring for a Partnerships & Ecosystem Engagement Intern Earning CHF 1,600 Per Month
The Solar Impulse Foundation’s impact is made possible thanks to a network of committed partners who support Solar Impulse Foundation mission. The Partnerships & Engagement Team builds and nurtures these strategic relationships while developing new collaborations that help accelerate the deployment of clean technologies worldwide.
As a Partnerships & Engagement Intern, you will support both the development of new partnerships and the activation of existing ones. You will work on a variety of projects ranging from partnership management and ecosystem engagement to innovation scouting, strategic research, and event coordination.
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience at the intersection of innovation, sustainability, corporate engagement, and public-private collaboration within an internationally recognized organization.
Your Responsibilities
1.Partnership Activation & Relationship Management
- Support the implementation of activities and projects delivered for Foundation partners.
- Prepare meetings, presentations, follow-up actions, and partner communications.
- Contribute to flagship initiatives such as the Île-de-France Experimentation Program and the Global Impulse Program, coordinating stakeholders, logistics, and communication materials.
- Help ensure partner commitments are delivered on time and documented.
2.Partnership Developement
- Research and identify prospective partners aligned with the Foundation’s mission.
- Conduct market research, benchmarking, and stakeholder mapping.
- Support the preparation of partnership proposals, concept notes, and outreach materials.
- Monitor sustainability, innovation, and climate trends to identify new collaboration opportunities.
3.Ecosystem Engagement & Matchmaking
- Help connect innovators with corporates, investors, public institutions, and cities.
- Support the organization of networking events, workshops, and matchmaking activities.
- Track introductions, collaborations, and outcomes that facilitate the deployment of clean solutions.
4.Research & Strategic Content
- Prepare partner profiles, analyses, and sector benchmarks.
- Develop presentations and strategic documents for internal and external audiences.
- Support communication initiatives showcasing the Foundation’s impact and its portfolio of labeled solutions.
Who You Are
You’re curious about sustainability, passionate about innovation, and excited to contribute to meaningful projects with real-world impact. You combine strong analytical thinking with excellent interpersonal skills and enjoy working in an international, collaborative environment.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Holds (or is currently completing) a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
- Has a strong interest in sustainability, innovation, business development, or public affairs.
- Is proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Has excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
- Is comfortable communicating with diverse stakeholders, from startups and investors to multinational companies and public institutions.
- Is fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
- Is proficient with Microsoft Office et Google workspace; experience with CRM tools is a plus.
