Paid Internship Opportunity: Join GIZ as a Water Management Intern (Focus: Climate and Water) with a monthly salary of €2,205.04

Overview

A better life for everyone and meaningful work for its employees – that’s GIZ model for success. For more than 50 years, the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), a German Federal Government company, has been supporting the global implementation of development policy goals. Together with partner organizations in 120 countries, GIZ is involved in a wide variety of projects. If you want to make a difference in the world and develop yourself in the process, you’ve come to the right place.

Field of activity

The Competence Center for Water, Wastewater, and Waste Management advises colleagues in partner countries on project planning and provides expert advice on project implementation. At the same time, it is responsible for GIZ’s position on current key issues related to water management. Currently, the topic of “climate and water” is a particular focus of development cooperation, and GIZ intends to address this issue and explore it in greater depth. Within the framework of a similarly named excellence theme, tried-and-tested approaches are to be reviewed and new ideas developed at the interface of climate and water. The focus areas are climate risk analysis, climate finance, and private sector participation in climate adaptation measures and financing.
