Are you passionate about gender and health equity? Looking to build skills and connect with like-minded professionals? Registration is now open for the 2026 Gender and Health Summer Institute cohort. The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Gender and Health Summer Institute is happy to be able to offer a number of full scholarships again this year!

There are nineteen online short courses to choose from, running from 2 to 5 half-days in June, July, and August.

Courses are designed for working professionals and graduate students, Hopkins or non-Hopkins, for-credit or non-credit and they are 100% virtual and live (from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST on Zoom)

Gender and Health Summer Institute 2026: Full Scholarships Available

Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is excited to announce that they have a number of full-tuition scholarships available for participants wishing to take a course as part of the Gender and Health Summer Institute!

Scholarships will be awarded through a competitive application process. Candidates may submit up to two applications (please submit one separate application per course). However, scholarship awardees will only be awarded a scholarship to one course.

Requirements:

  • For-credit/degree seekers: Must be enrolled in a JHU graduate-or-higher program and comply with any course-specific enrollment restrictions
  • Not-for-credit/non-degree seekers: Must hold the equivalent of a bachelor’s degree and/or the relevant experience to allow for participation in graduate-level courses, and comply with any course-specific enrollment restrictions.

Scholarships will be awarded in mid-April. Please wait to be informed about if you have been awarded a scholarship before going through the normal course registration process.  

Attendance at a registration webinar is required for scholarship recipients. There will be three dates to choose from between April 17 to April 29.
