The European Youth Energy Network (EYEN) is seeking motivated volunteers to support its mission of ensuring young people have a central voice in Europe’s energy transition. This is your opportunity to step into a dynamic, youth-led organisation and grow both personally and professionally.

What the Volunteer Role Involves

As a volunteer with EYEN, you will have responsibilities that may include:

Supporting the communications or project teams to develop content, social-media activities, website updates and youth-focused campaigns.
Participating in research or advocacy tasks related to youth engagement in energy policy, youth-consumer perspectives on energy, or tasks for special initiatives like the Young Energy Consumers Task Force.
Collaborating remotely with a diverse international team of youth professionals – giving you exposure to multicultural teamwork and the energy-sector network.
Contributing to event preparation, digital outreach and stakeholder engagement, with opportunities to enhance your portfolio in communications, policy, advocacy or project management.
Learning about how youth organisations engage with institutions, policy processes and energy-sector stakeholders – a valuable stepping-stone for future careers in energy, sustainability or international development.
