Area of activity

As part of the team, you will support project managers in exciting digitization projects and gain diverse insights into modern project management and the implementation of digital solutions.

Your tasks

Your tasks with GIZ as an Intern in (Digital) Project Management are:

You will be involved in the tendering and selection process for innovative SaaS solutions and software products, and gain insights into public procurement procedures.
You will participate in the planning and evaluation of digital projects, support the monitoring of budgets and milestones, and learn how planning is translated into results.
In this process, you will develop methodological competence for the application of agile and hybrid project methodologies.
You will assist with quality assurance testing of digital applications and contribute to a user-friendly solution.
You prepare qualitative and quantitative information and assist in the analysis of data.
You create informative presentations, maintain overview lists, and support the development and expansion of databases.
You design and maintain information pages in SharePoint, thus contributing to transparent knowledge sharing within the team.
You will assist with the organization, preparation and follow-up of meetings and learn about modern methods of collaboration.

Your profile

Interest in digitization and digital technologies
Interest in project management
Structured and meticulous work methods
Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 (especially Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint) or the willingness to expand this knowledge.
Analytical thinking skills and enjoyment of working with data and information
Team spirit, initiative and a reliable work ethic
Excellent German skills and good English skills – you can easily follow meetings in English and can briefly report on your tasks yourself.
