Job Role and Responsibilities:

As a Program Analyst at F.I.T. Africa, you will be an integral part of their dynamic team, supporting their mission to facilitate the transformation of individuals, organizations, and nations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting with program management and monitoring and evaluation efforts alongside our partners.
  • Working on a variety of projects within our practice pillars, including Leadership and Talent Development, Strategy & Organisational Development, Program Design & Delivery Support, Youth Development Practice, and Insight and Research. 
  • Crafting compelling business proposals and technical proposals for our diverse clientele.
  • Collaborating with a team of analysts and consultants to prepare detailed reports, concept notes, policy documents, curriculum, and insightful presentations.
  • Executing business development initiatives and contributing to proposal development.
  • Providing analysis, reporting, and strategic insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Providing content for thought leadership blogs and platforms.
  • Working closely with our partners to ensure the successful execution of their initiatives, including program design, project delivery,  technical review, and strategy implementation.
  • Support the general functioning and growth of the organizations through administrative tasks. 
  • Training design and delivery where required. 
  • Conducting in-depth research and analysis on social impact initiatives, including youth development in Nigeria.

Skill Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and analysis.
  • Fast learner, driven, with a growth mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace Packages( Sheets, Slides, Docs, Drive) and other relevant software. Basic design skills will be an advantage.
  • Project management skills and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in business development and proposal development is desirable.
  • Demonstrated passion for social causes and experience in the third sector or private sector led CSR.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in any field. 
  • 1.5 years and above work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience working within the social-sector or private sector CSR  is an advantage. This can be student-led efforts. 
  • Passionate about solving social problems. 

A Typical Day at F.I.T Africa:

No one day is the same- a typical day as a Program Analyst at F.I.T. Africa is dynamic and rewarding. For example, you will be assigned a client and will be required to manage the clients project delivery. This will include but not limited to: brainstorming innovative solutions, conducting research, preparing reports, designing training slides, and crafting proposals. You will champion and own your projects, but also collaborate with other team members to deliver excellent out-put on time.

Recognizing that youth development is a critical area for national progress, the client seeks to understand the most pressing challenges and the most effective ways to address them. The client has approached F.I.T. Advisory Africa for expert guidance to identify the key issues hindering youth development in Nigeria and to propose actionable and impactful solutions.

As the firm’s Program Analyst, you are tasked with analyzing the landscape of youth development in Nigeria and providing a strategic proposal. Your ability to conduct in-depth research, derive insightful conclusions, and present your findings compellingly will be crucial.
