Your Bridge to Impactful Climate Action. The Creative Climate Fellowship is your launchpad to kickstart a meaningful career as a climate and social change campaigner, equipping you with experience in hands-on projects, cutting-edge tools, and skills in digital and creative storytelling.

Overview

The Creative Climate Fellowship is an 8-month remote-first program that equips graduate students in Asia with advanced skills in digital campaigning in the climate and social change sectors. Through a blend of intensive training, mentorship by industry experts, and real-world campaigns, participants will master techniques in storytelling, content creation, digital strategy, and data-driven campaigning, all tailored to the unique challenges of the Asia Pacific region.

Hosted by campaigning organisations Cuttlefish Digital and Love Frankie, this fellowship recognises the intertwining, critical challenges of climate change and social justice. It incorporates immersive placements and module-based learning with unique access to a global network of strategic communicators. The program also provides industry-level guidance on fellows’ capstone projects including:

  • Real-world experience in strategic communications and digital campaigning
  • Skills development in data-driven campaigns, including creative storytelling and impact measurement
  • Masterclasses and industry-level mentorship from behaviour change strategists to climate professionals

What You’ll Learn

Campaign Strategy & Management

What is impactful digital campaigning? Learn how to build, launch, and measure the success of digital campaigns. Uncover leverage points within power structures that you can use to drive positive change. Conduct situational analyses of case studies in the Asia Pacific region. Get up to date with tools and resources that sharpen your campaign objectives!

Behavior Change Strategies

What barriers prevent individual and collective action for positive social change? Understand psychological drivers of behaviour change. Develop skills in mapping social and demographic profiles of audiences, and crafting persuasive messages based on audience segmentation.

Digital Storytelling & Creative Development

How can storytelling shift public perception and mobilise communities into action? Exchange views with master storytellers and gain insights into the creative process behind impactful campaign messages in Asia. Create digital content that drives results. Apply narrative techniques to any media format of your choice (text, audio, images, graphics or video), and clinch the opportunity to be published in Climate Impacts Tracker Asia!

Data Analytics & Audience Research

How can you use data to optimise campaign strategy and reach your target audience? Understand the process behind audience research and segmentation. Learn how to collect data, monitor engagement, and track key trends for digital campaigns. Gain industry know-how and practical tips on turning data into actionable insights for impactful campaigns.

Impact Measurement

What are the basics of monitoring and evaluation in campaign and advocacy work? Set evaluation goals and evidence-based benchmarks by conducting surveys, focus groups, and interviews. Acquire skills in analysing and combining data from multiple sources to develop a well-rounded campaign evaluation report.

Facilitation Fundamentals

What skills are needed to foster collaboration in multi-stakeholder campaigns? Develop skills and confidence in facilitating discussions and managing group dynamics. Learn and apply human-centred design principles that bring out the best in each participant and the group.

Eligibility Criteria

  • You are currently enrolled at a graduate program in Thailand
  • You live in Thailand and can commit to the program from April to December 2025
  • You have interest or experience in digital communications, content creation, climate campaigning, or policy advocacy
  • You want to develop a digital project that focuses on climate action or social impact
