Exciting Remote Assignment Opportunity: Work at Ashden as a Communications Consultant (Energy Access Sector)
Ashden is seeking a Communications Consultant (Energy Access Sector) for a 10–15 day remote assignment. You’ll map global organisations financing or with the potential to finance – energy access in Sub-Saharan Africa, and identify the most effective communications channels and partnerships to reach them.
About the Communications consultant (energy access sector) role
A 10-15 day remote assignment mapping global organisations that are financing, or could finance, energy access in Sub-Saharan Africa.
The role holder will also map communications channels, platforms and intermediaries through which these organisations can be reached – and make recommendations for the communication of Ashden’s energy access programmes.
Work will be done remotely, and Ashden welcome applications from any country.
Key objectives:
- Map audiences through which Ashden’s communications can stimulate funding for locally-led energy access enterprises, and drive systemic change in the climate finance system benefiting such organisations.
- Identify specific channels, moments and opportunities through which Ashden can effectively reach these audiences.
- Develop initial ideas for energy access campaigns and partnerships serving Ashden programmes building on the audiences and channels identified in the work above.
