United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification Youth Caucus (UNCCD Youth Caucus) is excited to announce the Youth4Water Grants programme in partnership with Protectol Health.
This programme supports youth-led, community-driven water solutions addressing water access and drought resilience across Africa and South Asia (India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka). Selected projects will receive funding support along with visibility and communications support.
Overview
The Youth4Water Grants programme supports youth-led, community-driven water solutions across Africa and South Asia (India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka).
Through this joint initiative, Protectol Health and the UNCCD Youth Caucus (United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification Youth Caucus) aim to empower young leaders to take action on water access, drought resilience, and sustainable community development.
Selected projects will receive small grants (USD 2,000–2,500) along with visibility and communications support. In this pilot round, four projects (two in Africa, two in South Asia) will be supported, with outcomes showcased at the UNCCD COP17 in Mongolia (August 2026).
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until March 2026 or until all four projects are selected.
