About the Opportunity
Salzburg Global is seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join its Health team as an Impact Fellow. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting the successful implementation of Salzburg Global programs, ensuring a seamless experience for program Fellows from onboarding to delivery. As Impact Fellow, Health, you will be a key player in driving the goals of Salzburg Global Health Program Pillar. You will contribute significantly to both program implementation and development, collaborating with various departments within Salzburg Global and external partners.
You are the ideal candidate for this job if you have strong communication and organizational skills, possess a keen attention to detail, enjoy working collaboratively, are adept at intercultural communication, and enthusiastic about engaging with people and institutions all over the world.
Scope of Work and Deliverables:
Program Implementation
- Support the seamless execution of online and in-person programs, spanning the entire lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to delivery.
- Serve as a key point of contact for program Fellows, ensuring they have clear information and necessary support.
- Attend virtual meetings with Fellows, providing technical assistance and logistical support.
Program Development and Planning
- Support the creation and communication of engaging program materials to enhance participant experience ensuring effective archival of documents.
- Attend program partner calls, capturing notes and action items to support program development efforts.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge or experience of new media, communication and information for health, or related fields a strong advantage.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Microsoft Office and excellent written communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- Ability to juggle different tasks simultaneously and prioritize projects efficiently.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively proactively, in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience or interest in working in a cross-cultural, multi-country context, preferably with experience of engaging a wide group of professionals.
- Experience with program, educational or conference organization is preferred.
- Experience producing short, compelling written content is an advantage.
Conditions
- Fixed-term freelance contract until 31 December 2026.
- USD $1050/month.
- Flexible remote work, with availability to join team calls in European time zones.
