Call for Speakers
Every year, the WBG Youth Summit brings together young leaders, innovators, and experts from across the globe to tackle some of the most pressing development challenges of our time.
This year’s theme, “FutureWorks: Designing Jobs for the Digital Age,” puts the spotlight on one of the defining questions of our generation: How do we create enough good jobs for the 1.2 billion young people who will enter the workforce in the next decade?
From entrepreneurship 🚀 and digital skills 💻 to agribusiness 🌱 and innovative financing 💡, World Bank Group (WBG) is building an agenda that connects ideas to action. And WBG wants the right people at the front of the room.
If you are working on any of these areas, WBG wants to hear from you.
WBG Youth Summit 2026 – Speaker Nomination
The World Bank Group Youth Summit is the Bank’s largest annual event for people aged 18–35, focused on youth‑led solutions to global development challenges. It combines high‑level plenaries, a pitch competition, and hands‑on labs to connect young innovators with World Bank staff, partners, and other institutions.
The 2026 Youth Summit (“FutureWorks: Designing Jobs for the Digital Age“) will focus on the following themes and perspectives: Education and Skills, Entrepreneurship, Agriculture, Technology & Innovation, Development Financing and Fragility, Conflict & Violence.
The Youth Summit Committee is seeking nominations for dynamic leaders, practitioners, entrepreneurs, and researchers who can share concrete, action‑oriented insights on how technology & innovation can create more inclusive and sustainable jobs for youth worldwide. Does that sound like you or someone you know? WBG would love to hear more!
Apply to be a speaker by May 1 and help design the conversations that will matter most.
