Applications are now open to present your research at the Omniverse Research Exchange 2026 implemented by TechQuest STEM Academy, as part of the Omniverse Africa Summit 3.0 in Lagos, Nigeria.
Selected researchers would receive flight + 5 nights accommodation covered (from any of the 55 African countries), with funding from the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology & Space, Germany.
Call for Researchers: the Omniverse Research Exchange Showcase 2026
TechQuest STEM Academy invites researchers across Africa to submit applications to participate in the Omniverse Research Exchange 2026. TechQuest STEM Academy is looking for researchers who are doing bold, innovative, relevant work that connects to the summit’s theme: “Research and Technology Without Borders: Co-creating a Sustainable Future”. Selected researchers will have the opportunity to present their work, build lasting partnerships, and contribute to shaping Africa’s research and innovation agenda on a global stage.
Some selected African researchers will have sponsored flight and accommodation covered to Lagos, Nigeria from across the 55 African countries, with funding from the German Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space.
About the Omniverse Research Exchange
The Omniverse Research Exchange is a flagship initiative of TechQuest STEM Academy, convened as a key segment of the Omniverse Africa Summit 3.0. It is a cross-continental platform where researchers, innovators, policymakers, startups, and funding partners come together to connect, collaborate, and co-create solutions to Africa’s most pressing challenges.
Building on the success of the 2025 edition, which brought together over 450 participants from across Africa and representatives from Germany, the European Union, and the United States, the 2026 Exchange deepens its commitment to applied research, cross-sector collaboration, and international partnerships.
The Exchange fosters a vibrant ecosystem where insights, technologies, and methodologies flow freely across borders, ensuring that African research and innovation are both informed by, and contributing to, global best practices.

TechQuest STEM Academy invites researchers across Africa to submit applications to participate in the Omniverse Research Exchange. TechQuest STEM Academy is looking for researchers who are doing bold, innovative, relevant work that connects to the summit’s theme:

Eligibility Criteria
- Open to researchers affiliated with a recognized university, research institute, or innovation organization. Priority to Africa-based institutions or those with active engagement in Africa.
- Funded and non-funded researchers are encouraged to apply.
- Research must be original and demonstrate potential for real-world application, commercialization or policy impact.
- Collaborative and interdisciplinary research is especially welcome.
- African-led research and research addressing African challenges is strongly encouraged.
