Overview
Global Partnership
A Youth Vision for the World’s Future aims to uplift and represent youth voices around the world on critical sustainability issues. Launched in partnership with the Ford Foundation, this new project aims to gather and assess global youth perspectives through a series of regional dialogues on gender equality, climate change, and the future of work. Twelve regional consultations will be held to deepen understanding of youth perspectives on these issues, including what has worked, what has not, and young people’s hopes and priorities for the remaining years of the 2030 Agenda.
Following the consultations, SDSN Youth will publish a brief synthesizing youth perspectives, aspirations, and concerns, along with actionable recommendations for decision-makers to help inform the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and future global efforts.
To move beyond consultation toward meaningful participation, the project will also channel youth voices into high-level policy processes. SDSN Youth will present these recommendations to senior representatives of UN Member States, civil society organizations, and academia at major multilateral forums.
