Are you aged 18–29, passionate about youth-led climate action, and creating impact in your community? Are you ready to take your changemaking journey to the next level?
Gain access to:
- One-on-one mentorship with experienced environmental professionals across Africa.
- Practical guidance to design, implement, and scale environmental initiatives.
- Access to the Project Management Course by Global Changemakers.
- A fundraising masterclass facilitated by Laura Ede, an experienced nonprofit fundraising strategist.
- An Organizational Branding Masterclass by Nova Studios to strengthen your project’s visibility and communication.
- Curated resources and materials to improve your project’s impact and delivery.
- Certificate of completion at the end of the program.

Mentees will also be eligible for a raffle to receive:
Grant writing resource materials authored by Laura Ede, access to Canva Pro for one year to support branding and communication needs plus a micro-grant of 100 USD to support the implementation or scaling of your project
Pledge for Nature Launchpad 2026 Overview
This fully funded program, delivered by the Youth for Environmental Conservation Initiative with support from Global Changemakers, is open to individuals aged 18–29 across Africa. It is designed to equip emerging environmental leaders with the skills, knowledge, and mentorship to lead impactful climate and sustainability projects in their communities.

What Selected Mentees Will Receive:
- One-on-One Mentorship: Engage directly with experienced environmental professionals across Africa for tailored guidance and support.
- Leadership and Project Development Support: Receive practical guidance to design, implement, and scale environmental initiatives.
- Capacity Building Courses: Access to a Project Management Course by Global Changemakers. Completion of this course does not guarantee a 1000 USD grant to scale your work, but it is a requirement to be eligible to apply for it. A Masterclass facilitated by Laura Ede, an experienced nonprofit fundraising strategist. An Organizational Branding Masterclass by Nova Studios to enhance your project’s visibility and communication. Access to curated materials to improve your project’s design, delivery, and impact.
- Certification: Participants who fulfill all program requirements will receive a certificate of completion.

Areas of Interest
Over the TEN weeks, Youth for Environmental Conservation has developed a Conservation Starter Toolkit to guide Mentees, covering topics in these areas:
- Design Thinking: Innovating with empathy and user-centered solutions.
- Project Management: Building frameworks for efficient and effective project execution.
- Storytelling and Social Media Branding: Crafting authentic narratives to amplify impact.
- Team Management: Leading, motivating, and sustaining mission-driven teams.
- Grant Writing: Developing compelling funding proposals.
- Systems Thinking: Understanding and navigating complexity in environmental action.
- Ethical Leadership: Leading with values, integrity, and responsibility.
- Building Strategic Partnerships: Cultivating relationships for sustainable growth.
These focus areas are guides rather than limitations. Mentors are encouraged to engage broadly and flexibly based on the Mentees’ evolving needs.
Time Commitment
Mentees are asked to commit to at least one hour per week for the ten-week program. Engagement may be conducted via accessible virtual platforms such as Google Meet, Zoom, or WhatsApp, as mutually convenient.
