If you are passionate about climate action, health policy, and youth engagement in global governance, this is an opportunity you cannot afford to miss.
International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) representing over 500,000 pharmacy students and recent graduates across 92 countries, is calling for applications to join its official delegation to the 64th Sessions of the UNFCCC Subsidiary Bodies (SB64), taking place in Bonn, Germany, from 8–18 June 2026.
What is SB64?
SB64 is a core part of the intergovernmental negotiation process under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Held annually in Bonn, these sessions bring together governments, accredited observer organisations, and non-Party stakeholders to advance technical and policy negotiations on:
- Mitigation and adaptation
- Climate finance
- Technology transfer
- Transparency frameworks
- Implementation of the Paris Agreement
- The outcomes of SB64 directly feed into decisions made at COP31.
Why does this matter for you?
As the climate crisis increasingly intersects with public health, pharmacy professionals and students have a unique and urgent role to play in climate policy spaces. IPSF’s presence at UNFCCC negotiations ensures that the health community’s voice is heard where global decisions are made.
