Call for Expressions of Interest: ISEAL Innovations Fund for small-scale producers globally (Grant funding of GBP 40,000 to 80,000 awarded)
The ISEAL Innovations Fund has launched a call for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) on the theme:
”Reaching and supporting small-scale producers beyond certified supply chains”
Small-scale producers make up roughly 80% of the global market yet most operate outside formal certification systems — facing environmental pressures, rising regulatory expectations, and limited access to markets and sustainability support. This funding round aims to help address that gap by supporting innovative, collaborative solutions that extend sustainability systems beyond traditional certified supply chains.
About the Grants
The ISEAL Innovations Fund is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOIs) for projects that tackle one of the biggest sustainability challenges today: how to reach and support small-scale producers who operate outside formal certified supply chains — an estimated 80% of small-scale producers globally. Projects should design and test innovative solutions that help strengthen sustainability, inclusion, and support for these producers through collaborative systems and partnerships.
Benefits
- Grant funding: GBP 40,000 to 80,000 to implement project activities.
- Project duration: Up to 1 year of support.
- Opportunity to pilot and demonstrate innovative approaches that can be replicated across sectors and regions.
- Engagement with a global community of sustainability systems and stakeholders.
- Increased visibility and potential scaling of project outcomes.
- Note: The Fund also prioritises learning and cross-sector collaboration, amplifying results beyond the individual projects.
Eligibility Details
Submit through an ISEAL Community Member: Only organisations that are ISEAL Community Members can formally submit an EOI.
Collaborations encouraged:
- Non-member organisations can be named as project leads or partners but must collaborate with a Member to submit the EOI.
- This encourages cross-sector partnerships between sustainability systems, NGOs, service providers, producer groups, businesses, and government actors.
Application Details
Prepare an Expression of Interest (EOI):
- The EOI is a brief proposal outlining your project idea related to the theme.
- Include project purpose, expected outcomes, and how it aligns with the call.
- Submission Deadline: Monday, 19 January 2026 — all EOIs must be submitted by this date.
Who Submits:
- The EOI must be submitted by an ISEAL Community Member.
- Non-members can be project leads or partners, but the official submission must come from a Member.
Selection:
- ISEAL reviews all EOIs and selects proposals for grant awards based on quality, relevance, innovation, and partnership potential.
