AGNES Africa is excited to invite qualified climate professionals across Africa to join the AGNES Experts Sub-Database – a diverse pool of reviewers who will contribute their expertise to the IPCC assessment cycle.
Why this matters:
The IPCC review process is critical to ensuring that climate science is rigorous, credible, and relevant. By becoming a reviewer, you’ll help shape global climate reports that guide policies, strategies, and funding decisions worldwide.
Who should apply?
Experts in climate science, adaptation & vulnerability, mitigation, and urban climate issues – from atmospheric physics to ecosystem-based adaptation, renewable energy, climate finance, and beyond. If you have at least 5 years’ experience and a strong background in climate-related research, policy, or practice, AGNES Africa would love to hear from you.
