Call for Applications – Joint Africa-Europe Transition Programme 2026
Welcome to the 2nd edition of YES-Europe’s Joint Africa-Europe Energy Transition Programme!
YES-Europe is pleased to invite applications from students, young professionals, researchers, and practitioners working in renewable energy, climate, and sustainability across Africa and Europe.
This programme connects emerging leaders from both regions to collaborate on energy transition projects, fostering mutual learning and strengthening cross-regional understanding. Participants will explore shared and region-specific challenges, investigate innovative solutions, and contribute to a growing network committed to advancing sustainable energy.
In the first round, selected participants will be paired across continents to ensure diverse expertise and perspectives. Each pair will work together on a joint research output—such as a paper or blog article—focusing on key energy transition topics in Africa and Europe, including case studies, policy analysis, technology, and community engagement.
YES-Europe welcome motivated applicants who are eager to collaborate, exchange knowledge, and contribute to impactful, cross-continental dialogue on the future of sustainable energy.
