Call for Applications: Join the Entrepreneurship Exchange Program to Build dynamic skills in entrepreneurship and drive local change through civic engagement.
Introduction
The Entrepreneurship Exchange Program brings together students from the U.S., Morocco, Libya and Egypt in small teams to identify market opportunities and develop business concepts that address real-world needs. Through this virtual certificate program, you’ll gain practical experience in civic-minded entrepreneurship.
The program culminates in a video pitch competition. After each cohort, the winning team will receive a personalized coaching package consisting of four virtual sessions with an international coach. Once all three cohorts are complete, the winning teams will also participate in four live group mentoring sessions with a University of Michigan entrepreneurship professor.
The program will run 3 times:
- Cohort 1 – 22 September – 21 November 2025 (Full)
- Cohort 2 – 20 January – 20 March 2026 (Application open)
- Cohort 3 – 4 May – 26 June 2026 (Application open)
Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis. Apply early for better chances to be placed in your preferred cohort.
The application is open to undergraduate students from:
- Libya
- Morocco – Al Akhawayn University in Ifrane
- The University of Michigan Ann Arbor, Dearborn, and Flint campuses; Wayne State University; Michigan State University; and Eastern Michigan University
You need to be an undergraduate student at the time you submit your application. You can start and finish the application at a later time. Do not press the SUBMIT button until you are completely finished (you will be notified when you reach this point).
