Call for Applications for the 2nd Cohort of the Funded DREEM Fellowship Program
Overview
EED Advisory, with support from the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, is pleased to announce the second round of applications for the DREEM (Distributed Renewable Energy Ecosystem Model) Fellowship Program!
The DREEM Fellowship Program is an innovative initiative designed to foster capacity building within local organizations by recruiting skilled and motivated fellows. These fellows will be seconded to local organizations to provide crucial administrative, managerial and technical support. The program aims to enhance the operational efficiency and strategic capabilities of these organizations, enabling them to better navigate the complex landscape of climate financing opportunities. By embedding highly qualified professionals within these organizations, the Fellowship Program helps bridge the gap between local needs and global funding mechanisms.
A key component of the DREEM Fellowship Program is its focus on identifying and developing fundraising proposals for climate financing. Fellows will work closely with the staff of local organizations to assess their needs, identify potential funding sources, and develop comprehensive proposals that align with the requirements of domestic and international funding donors and agencies. This hands-on approach ensures that local organizations are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to secure funding for climate-related projects, thereby promoting sustainable development and environmental resilience.
The program will select fellows from a diverse pool of candidates, ensuring a wide range of expertise and perspectives. By fostering a collaborative environment, the Fellowship Program not only strengthens the capacity of local organizations but also promotes knowledge sharing and professional development among the fellows.
