RES4Africa Foundation and ENEL Foundation in collaboration with the University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) are delighted to announce the 3rd Edition of the High-Level Managerial Course on Renewable Energy and the Energy Transition . This initiative aligns with the Italian government’s strategic vision and the objectives of the Piano Mattei, reinforcing sustainable energy cooperation with Africa.
Designed for ambitious professionals, this program provides cutting-edge technical, economic, and regulatory expertise to drive Africa’s renewable energy transformation.
The Managerial course will take place from March 30th to April 22nd 2026 and will be conducted as follows:
- 5 half-day online sessions spread over three weeks:
Date Time March 30th From 09.00 AM to 12.30 PM (CET) April 1st From 09.00 AM to 12.15 PM (CET) April 7t From 09.00 AM to 12.15 PM (CET) April 9th From 09.00 AM to 12.15 PM (CET) April 13th From 09.00 AM to 12.15 PM (CET) - 8 days (In-Person in Ben-Guerir, Morocco): Held in a single, concentrated week following the online portion from April 15th to 22nd, 2026.

The training has been designed for professionals primarily from North and West Africa, with 5-10 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, drawn from public and private organizations such as RE institutions, energy companies, universities, and research centers. RES4Africa Foundation particularly encourage applications from citizens of the following countries: Morocco, Ivory Coast, Egypt, Mauritania, Senegal, Tunisia, Ghana, and Republic of the Congo.
Over the course of the training, participants from West and North Africa will gather to gain a comprehensive understanding of the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in the field of power sector decarbonization. Renowned academic and industry experts from the partners’ network will deliver interactive sessions, workshops, and case studies, allowing for valuable knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities.
The 3rd Edition of the High-Level Managerial Course on Renewable Energy and the Energy Transition program is fully funded, covering the costs of travel, accommodation, and participation for selected participants.
Eligibility criteria:
- University degree in the energy field or a related field,
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the energy sector,
- Proficiency in English

The deadline for applying is January 9th, 2026. Note: All applicants must demonstrate B2-level English proficiency. Candidates whose first language is not English or who do not hold an English language certificate will be required to take an English assessment interview organized by the selection committee.
