Background
Summer schools are an integral part of the mission of the School of Environment (SOE), Tsinghua University to promote cross-cultural communication and global connections. They provide a valuable platform for students across the globe to better connect with China, academically and culturally, and to expand their horizons.

Credit & Certificate: Earn a Tsinghua SOE certificate and 2 credits
Program Activities
- Interdisciplinary courses led by Tsinghua’s top faculty
- Field trips to cutting-edge environmental facilities
- Technical visits and lab visits
- SDG Innovation & Projects
- Cultural salons and traditional Chinese arts workshops
- Opening ceremony, keynote lectures, final presentation, and awards ceremony
Eligibility
- Current undergraduate or master’s students
- Environmental or related field background preferred
- Tuition and Fees
- No registration fees
- Accommodation and living costs in Beijing are sponsored by the China Scholarship Council
