Apply Now for the Millennium Fellowship 2026: Become a Campus Changemaker for Sustainable Development

Are you passionate about social impact and ready to lead change on your campus? The Millennium Fellowship is a semester-long leadership development program designed for undergraduate students committed to driving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through real, measurable action.

The United Nations Academic Impact and MCN proudly present the Millennium Fellowship. The Fellowship is a semester-long leadership development program on your campus to take your social impact to the next level.

The program is specifically designed for undergraduates committed to advancing social impact and the Sustainable Development Goals. Fellows refine their leadership, build impactful projects, and connect with a global community of changemakers.

Millennium Fellows receive access to:

  • Training
  • Connections
  • Recognition

The Fellowship is a free of cost program. There is no fee or charge for the students and universities.

What Is the Millennium Fellowship?

The Fellowship brings together student leaders on campus to convene, challenge themselves, and celebrate their impact. It’s a partnership between United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and the Millennium Campus Network (MCN). Fellows work in groups on their campuses, leading projects that create social change and advance one or more SDGs, while building leadership skills through peer learning, mentoring, and practical training.

Through at least eight in-person convenings over one semester, participants use the MCN Action Toolkit to reflect on their values, plan concrete projects, and develop both soft and hard leadership skills. At the same time, they connect with a global network of student changemakers, gaining insights and inspiration.
