The Bonn Climate Camp Bridge (BCCB) is back!
Attending the Bonn Climate Conferences (UNFCCC SBs) comes with significant barriers for civil society organisations from the Global South. The Bonn Climate Camp Bridge 2026 is available to give fully-funded travel support to attend the SB64 and Bonn Climate Camp
The Bonn Climate Camp is a space to welcome everyone in Bonn, but Bonn Climate Camp can only financially support a small number of advocates and activists from the Global South. For that, groups, initiatives or established NGOs working on intersectional climate justice can apply and nominate two participants based on THE guidelines.

The Bonn Climate Camp Bridge 2026
The Bonn Climate Camp (BCC) is launching this initiative to support international climate activists by funding their travel to the SBs in Bonn. Bonn Climate Camp will cover flight tickets, travel health insurance (both provided directly by Bonn Climate Camp—no reimbursement for individual bookings) and daily allowances.
The Bonn Climate Camp is a community space where civil society actors engaged in the SBs can receive logistical and other forms of support. It is also a gathering space to discuss the negotiations over dinner, strategize, and plan actions. BCC offers room for workshops, grassroots organizing, interactive sessions, and creative activities. Participants will explore various aspects of climate justice, from climate policy to Indigenous rights, from sustainable solutions to systemic injustices.
Please note: While you can attend SB64 as an Observer and also participate in the Camp, BCC does not provide SB64 accreditation. Each group must secure their own accreditation for SB64 through an accredited organization.
BCC is open to everyone in Bonn, but Bonn Climate Camp can only provide financial support to a limited number of advocates and activists from the Global South. Accommodation is not included, as free lodging is available through the Bed Exchange program. The Bed Exchange program is not officially launched yet, so you cannot register your request so far until the official announcement. BCC team will announce it through BCC social media/website once it is ready. If you require support with accommodation, please apply for it separately. If selected ,please apply for it as soon as they start taking applications and reach out to us incase you are not matched in the first week.
The deadline to apply for BCC funding is March 31st 11:59 PM GMT.
Eligibility Criteria
Bonn Climate Camp invites applications from groups (initiatives or established NGOs) working on climate justice and its intersections. Each group may nominate two participants to represent their organization, based on the following guidelines:
- Is a group (initiatives or established NGOs)
- Is based in the Global South
- Nominees must be active members of your group with a proven record of local engagement.
- At least one nominee must not have attended a UNFCCC COP before.
- At least one nominee must be under 30 years old.
- At least one nominee must identify as non-male.
- Priority will be given to nominees with disabilities (visible or invisible).
- Nominees must be available to actively participate in and support the camp.
- Nominees must be willing to support BCC on-site and provide feedback, testimonies, a video, or other documentation after the camp.
While Bonn Climate Camp will offer support and guidance as needed, this program will not impose an extensive agenda during the conference.
