About the Role
A Research Assistant Position has opened in the Nano-electrochemistry Laboratory, Department of Chemistry at the American University in Cairo (AUC) under Professor Ehab El Sawy. The Professor is looking to hire a motivated and dedicated full-time Research Assistant under the Research Topic: Energy Storage and Conversion Technologies
Requirements
- B.Sc. degrees in chemistry/materials science or engineering/nanomaterial with a GPA of 3 or higher. M.Sc. holders are welcome to apply.
- Previous hands-on experience related to material science and electrochemical applications
- Advanced English writing and communication skills (TOEFL- IBT (80 (21 writing)), IELTS (6 (6.5 writing), or equivalent)
Duration: 1 year ( August 2024 to July 2025). The contract might be renewed yearly based on performance.
Salary: The position has a monthly stipend according to the candidate’s experience.
