Ready to lead the change? The African Climate Alliance Ambassador Programme 2026 is officially open for applications!
This is your chance to join a powerful network of young climate leaders across Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Kenya South Africa who are stepping up to demand climate justice and create real impact in their communities.
As an ACA Ambassador, you’ll receive training in advocacy, storytelling, and climate leadership, connect with passionate changemakers across Africa, and learn how to design and lead community climate projects that make a difference. You’ll also get opportunities to represent your community in regional and global spaces, using your voice to push for a just and sustainable future.

Overview
The African Climate Alliance is looking for the next cohort of young african leaders ready to be actors for climate justice in their communities.
As an ACA Ambassador, you’ll receive training in advocacy, storytelling, and climate leadership, connect with passionate changemakers across Africa, and learn how to design and lead community climate projects that make a difference. You’ll also get opportunities to represent your community in regional and global spaces, using your voice to push for a just and sustainable future.
Apply if you meet the following requirements
- Sees themselves continuing as a movement-builder, trainer, or community organiser beyond the programme, applying the skills and networks gained to sustain climate justice work
- Aged 20-30 years old
- Based in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Kenya, and South Africa
- Able to dedicate 10-15 hours per week over the 10‑month programme (virtual with some potential
- for in‑person opportunities)
- Are curious, collaborative and committed to co‑creating solutions rather than working in isolation
- Are active in community, campus, or grassroots spaces and eager to scale that impact with new tools and networks
- Resonates with ACA’s principles: Afrocentric, youth- led, inclusive, people-centered, collaboration
